SNF DraftKings Pick 6 (9/14): Vikings vs. Falcons

Breaking down tonight’s DraftKings Pick 6 for an 8.9x payout

Sunday Night Football is here, and nothing says chaos like sweating out a DraftKings Pick 6. Tonight’s card is all about two young QBs and a tight primetime spread. Let’s dive into the four legs on this slip and why they just might hit.

My Pick 6

8.9x – $10 to win $89

PlayerPick
Michael Penix Jr.MORE: 232.5 Passing Yards
J.J. McCarthyMORE: 18.5 Rushing Yards
Aaron Jones Sr.LESS: 40.5 Rushing Yards
Kyle Pitts Sr.MORE: 33.5 Receiving Yards

Michael Penix Jr. | 232.5 Passing Yards (More)

The young QB looked composed in Week 1, throwing for 298 yards at a 64% clip. Minnesota’s secondary got gashed for chunk plays last week, and if Atlanta’s O-line gives Penix even half the protection it did against the Jets, he’s going to soar past this number. Verdict: More

J.J. McCarthy | 18.5 Rushing Yards (More)

McCarthy isn’t a designed runner, but he’s sneaky mobile. He had 25 rushing yards in Week 1, including a beautiful 14-yard keeper. The rest of his yards came mostly on scrambles, and with Atlanta’s pass rush likely to push him out of the pocket, a couple of broken plays could cash this in one or two runs. Verdict: More

Aaron Jones Sr. | 40.5 Rushing Yards (Less)

The former Green Bay workhorse turned Viking RB1 looked sharp in his new uniform, putting up 67 total yards last week. However, he’s splitting carries with Jordan Mason, which is why his rushing total only hit 23 yards. He’s an explosive guy, and they want the ball in his hands, but I see him doing more damage in the screen/dump-off game rather than rushing. Verdict: Less

Kyle Pitts Sr. | 33.5 Receiving Yards (More)

Forget the “Pitts is wasted” narrative. Penix actually targeted him 8 times in Week 1, and he finished with 59 yards. With Minnesota likely bracketing Drake London, Pitts will see mismatches across the middle. One seam route or busted coverage and this number is dust. Verdict: More

This slip lives and dies with Michael Penix Jr. If he’s cooking, Pitts cashes, and the Falcons keep pace — then we’re just keeping an eye on Jones and his carries and McCarthy to scramble once or twice. $10 to ride the chaos? Count me in.
