TNF DraftKings Pick 6 (9/18): Bills vs. Dolphins

All overs on tonight’s Pick 6 - riding Cook, Achane, and Palmer to cash.

Sunday Night Football is here, and nothing says chaos like sweating out a DraftKings Pick 6. Tonight’s card is all about two young QBs and a tight primetime spread. Let’s dive into the four legs on this slip and why they just might hit.

PlayerPick
James CookMORE: 0.5 Touchdowns
De’Von AchaneMORE: 55.5 Rushing Yards
Joshua PalmerMORE: 32.5 Receving Yards

James Cook | 0.5 Touchdowns (More)

Cook has scored in both of Buffalo’s games this season, and the volume should be there in spades tonight against a weak Miami team. He’s averaging 20 total touches per game, and the Bills have been working him heavily inside the 20s. Miami has given up three rushing scores through two weeks and ranks near the bottom of the league with 139 rushing yards allowed per game. Cook’s dual-threat usage gives him multiple paths to cash this leg. Verdict: More

De’Von Achane | 55.5 Rushing Yards (More)

Achane’s explosiveness can be game-breaking, and Buffalo’s lone weakness this year has been its rushing defense, currently 31st in the league. Much of that was due to a beating they took from Derrick Henry (169 rushing yards) and Lamar Jackson (70 rushing yards). Achane has yet to really break out in his first 2 games this season, and was bottled up pretty well last week against New England. However, with 900+ yards rushing in 2024, including an average of 79.5 yards in two games against the Bills, I like this one to hit the over. Verdict: More

Joshua Palmer | 32.5 Receiving Yards (More)

Through the first two games of 2025, Palmer has racked up 108 receiving yards on 7 catches and 12 targets, including a 61-yard performance vs. Baltimore and a 47-yard game vs. the Jets. Given his average depth of target (around 15.4 yards), we’re looking at roughly 2-3 receptions to hit this leg. Verdict: More

This card leans heavily on playmakers cashing in their opportunities: Cook’s red-zone work finally paying off, Achane breaking a big one, and Palmer staying involved as a secondary weapon in the Bills’ passing attack.

Let’s win some money.
